With that said it should be known that there are "hard" styles,"soft"
styles and ones that encompass both. Hard Styles consist of Muay Thai, Tae Kwon Do, Kenpo, Jeet Kune Do, Hung Gar, Wing Chun, Shaolin Kung Fu, Shotokan, etc. They are
designed to attack and cause harm to opponents. Take note that many of these "hard" styles have a soft center. The Yin has a small part in the yang and vice versa. Jeet Kune Do may be a deadly art
but in the words of it's creator "Jeet Kune Do Is Not To Hurt." Many martial arts are based on a certain philosophy of living.
There is much you will learn, depending on the
style. Just one could take a lifetime to master and you will by no means ever truly "master" it. You will become proficient and accurate but you will always be able to learn something new.
Even Masters can learn something new by watching beginners. No human being knows everything, therefore no human being could ever comprehend "knowing" a style completely. It's the pursuit of
perfection that is important.Home | About Us | Contact Us | Privacy Policy | Site Map | Blog | Myspace
